There are many things that I would have never thought about when it comes to design before I saw this little video. The video is about how you can learn to design things but it is also based on the point of view of people who are designing a shopping cart. "Not all teams are equal, and not all are effective. This can often result in lost opportunities and negative bottom line impact for the organization." This may be true but it is also said that they would not want to heir people who don't agree with you so that they can come up with other ideas. They do this because they want to be able to build off of the ideas of others instead of criticizing them. They actually get in trouble for criticizing instead of building ideas.
The departments of IDEO are said to be very playful. The man who is doing the interview in the video that we watched in class says that when you walk in you can tell that the people are playful. At one point there was a man who decided that he wanted to hang his bike in the ceiling he tried it and waited to see if anyone would complain. Nobody did, and then pretty soon people started doing it as well.
There are many other things that I learned and thought was very interesting about this video these are just a few of the most important memorable things that I took from watching the video.
